Shirayuri absorbent sheets use a special highly antibacterial absorbent polymer, providing antibacterial effects against E. coli, Staphylococcus aureus, Candida, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. It also has a bactericidal effect against ammonia-producing bacteria and is expected to provide deodorizing effects against ammonia. In addition, it contains deodorants effective against the four major malodors (ammonia, trimethylamine, hydrogen sulfide, and methyl mercaptan), helping to control odors from absorbed moisture.
